Bolt, Francis, Dick
1 Francis, Dick Bolt
London Michael Joseph 1986 0718127560 / 9780718127565 First British Edition Cloth Near Fine Very Good
First British Printing. From the Donald S. Olsen collection of modern firsts. A collectable copy in near fine condition in an unclipped and very good dustjacket. This copy has some lightly browned page edges as usual for this publisher because of paper quality. What is probably the original owners name in ink has been nicely removed from the front pastedown--done so nicely that it is almost imperceptable---otherwise this copy would be fine. The dustjacket is unclipped and just slightly rubbed on the front panel--still complete and bright without any chipping or edgewear. Protected by a durafold jacket covering and will be shipped priority mail at media mail prices.

First Printing. From the Donald Olsen collection of modern firsts. A near fine copy in an unclipped and near fine dustjacket. Light age toning to page edges all around. A little dustiness to the cloth boards--otherwise would be fine. The dustjacket is unclipped--and there are two small closed end tears to the rear cover at the top--not affecting titles or wordings--otherwise would be fine. Ex-Jockey Francis has a great ability of mixing the Horse track (which he obviously loved) with crime and detective work--in this case--art theft. a great read and in great collectable condition.
