New York Harper & Brothers 1922 First Edition Cloth Very Good Very Good
First Printing 1922. From the collection of well known collector M.B. Goldstone--with his custom gold bookplate lightly attached to the front pastedown and his signature in pencil to the front free endpaper. A near fine copy in a very good dustjacket. Light age toning--mostly to the page edges. A complete dustjacket, unclipped with the original $2.00 price--with only light edgewear--mostly to the head and heel of the spine. Set in and around the Texas oil fields after the first World War. A nice collectable copy.

New York Harper & Brothers 1913 First Printing Decorative Cloth Fine Very Good Leone
From the recently auctioned collection of M. B. Goldstone--with the auction tag laid in. A superb copy in red cloth with extensive gilt decorations to front board and spine. A fine copy with the original dustjacket--a very rare copy. Harper's first printing with "K-N" Published August 1913. A little dustiness to the page edges only--otherwise a superb and clean copy in near mint condition. The dustjacket is complete with the "$1.35" price on the spine--although the spine colors are slightly faded. A small amount of edgewear to the spine head and heel--but a complete front panel with strong coloration. 391 pp. Eight illustrations including frontispiece with original tissue guard still in place.
