First Printing (A-E) A very rare and collectable first print signed copy in very fine condition in an unclipped and mylar protected dustjacket--very good. The dustjacket has minor rubbing from shelfwear--or also would be fine. No tears or other markings. This copy still has the crispness of a brand new book. Inscribed by the late author on the half title page "Enjoy, Enjoy--Best Wishes--Theodore Taylor"---he has also printed "First Edition" on top of the page. Scans available upon request. A story of a boy named Sorry Rinamu, 16 years old, who tries to stop the further testing of atomic bombs on the Pacific atoll he and his family call home. Believing that the water and beach will forever be poisoned--he must do whatever he can--even if it means defying the US military to stop the testing. A rare and collectable signed first print copy.
