An exquisitely constructed copy in fine condition in an unclipped and very good to good dustjacket with an 8" closed end tear down spine, edgewear with scotch tape to top and bottom of the spine--now protected in a mylar covering. A great heritage of Oriental Art. Burgundy cloth with ornate decorations. Torquoise and gilt lettering to spine for title. 224 large plates, 5 in full color, 104 pages, introduction, 46 text illustrations. Many of the plates are laid in (tipped). All plates are suitable for framing. There is even a listing for identifying Japanese autographs of artists at the end of the book. Very collectable. First Printing. Scarce title.
