Pinktoes (First Printing), Himes, Chester
2 Himes, Chester Pinktoes (First Printing)
New York Stein and Day (Putnam) 1965 First Hardcover
First Edition/First Printing 1965. A handsome copy--fine in a near fine price clipped dustjacket--This copy has the usual light fading to the pink coloring seen in this title. Only very mild rubbing to the DJ and one tiny chip at head of spine--otherwise a nice collectable clean copy. An interracial satire written in the 1960's when subjects like these were just coming into mainstream view. This book had to be first published in Paris by the Olympia Press--before it was accepted in America.
