First Printing. A handsome and fine copy in an unclipped ($3.50) and very good dustjacket. This copy is signed by the author on the front free endpaper--signed without any inscription. From the author of "The Exorcist"--this is one of his early works--a story about a Jewish U2 pilot who crash lands in Arabic territory. A hilarious cold war adventure of international diplomacy--and a far cry from the day when Blatty would write the "Exorcist" a terrifying novel that gripped the entire USA population when it was released as a movie and made pea soup a scary prop. A very collectable copy. Only mild age toning to the page edges and one little blip on the front board--hardly noticeable. The dustjacket is complete and unchipped--but it is age toned on the spine where the orange paper has lightened slightly. Protected by a BrodArt covering.
