First Printing 1934--although previously published in Scribner's Magazine in 1931. A fine copy in a near fine unclipped dustjacket. From the recently auctioned collection of M.B. Goldstone. This copy is slightly age toned at the extremities--but still fine. The dustjacket is lightly chipped at the heel of the spine and a little rubbed on the back cover--but otherwise would also be fine. Woodcuts by J. J. Lankes--patterned after the copies of Robert Frost publications of same size and paper (even the same type of use of woodcuts).
